Apply Pre-Emergents Now

Get Ahead of the Weeds
Now is the time to get at those weeds and crabgrass.  If you haven’t already, you should get a pre-emergent down relatively soon.  A common misconception about when to use pre-emergent crabgrass and weed preventer is that application should happen when flowers begin to bloom. That is already a bit late.

Pre-Emergents stop the growth of newly germinated seedlings.  Apply pre-emergents to lawns & garden beds in March and early April to prevent weed growth. Do not apply anywhere you wish to plant seeds.

Check the product to make sure that it covers the type of weeds that come up in your yard. We have several different pre-emergent products and can help you choose the right one. Come see us today to find the one that’s best for your lawn and garden!

Note: Do not apply anywhere you wish to plant seeds.
