Perennials
Perennials return year after year increasing in size every growing season. They can last 3 to 4 years or many more years depending on the plant and conditions. Perennials include woody and herbacious varieties.
Glover Nursery Waterwise Perennials.
Glover Nursery is proud to offer three great programs for native and water-wise landscaping. The Intermountain Native Plant Growers Association has developed a plant tagging and education program called Utah's Choice. There are 42 plants in the program to date. All include an informative tag and are well adapted to our region, requiring very little resources. For more information check out utahschoice.org. Water-wise plants for Utah is a plant tagging program developed by Utah government and local agencies to help the public identify low water use plants. All plants in the program require water at most every two weeks and are clearly labeled with a yellow water-wise tag at participating nurseries. For more information go to waterwiseplants.utah.gov. Plant Select is a cooperative program administered by the Denver Botanic Gardens and Colorado State University in concert with horticulturists and nurseries throughout the Rocky Mountains and beyond.
